Monkey at gym class!

Today Aimee got to do one of her favorite things at gym class. She got to hang, swing, and then drop onto the mats below her from the high bar. She loves to grab the bar, swing herself back and forth and then just plop down onto the mats. She gets a big giggle out of doing this and usually will do it 3-4 times before moving onto something else. Next was the car wash. They hung different colored scarves and pom-poms for the kids to run through like a car goes through a car wash. By the end the kids were all using the scarves to tickle one another with.

Port Discovery with Grammy Bonnie & Mommy

Today we went to Port Discovery with Grammy Bonnie. This is a BIG children's museum in Baltimore City. She got to paint a rock with water and watch it change colors (just got darker). Then in their 4 and under room they have a big fort for the kids to climb up a rope ladder and then come down a slide. Aimee thought it was more fun to come down on her belly! They also have a cafe the kids can pretend they are the chefs & waitress'. Aimee loves this room and loves to pretend she is cooking up some wild meals for people. At one point I think she almost had all of the food on the table for Grammy. Next we went to story time, which she loves. She ended up playing with the jack in the box for most of it, but loves to hear people read her stories while she plays. Aimee had a great day with Grammy Bonnie and can't wait to go back soon.

Aimee found mommy's heels today and decided to try them on for size. She got one on, but couldn't get the other one on at the same time. She walked around the bedroom for a little while with just the one shoe on and then switched shoes.

Aimee and her friend Logan

On Saturday I watched Aimee, her friend Logan and her older sister. The girls all get along very well and had a great day together. Logan is 6hr older than Aimee and have known one another before they were even born. I added two pictures from their play time for all to see. The first picture is Aimee on her bike with her baby doll behind her. She loves taking her dolls for rides on her bike. The second is of both girls smiling for the camera.

Aimee, Grammy Bonnie & Stuffed Puppies

Aimee & Grammy had fun playing tea party today. Grammy brought over her puppy Barney and Aimee got out her puppy Barney. Yes they made both of them last week and named them both Barney after Grammy's real dog name Barney. They played tea party for a while and even fed their puppies. Aimee then thought the two dogs would like to play ball and gave each puppy a ball. Once Grammy left Aimee decided her and puppy needed to cuddling for a bit and read a book. She loves to cuddle with her puppy and loves to bring her blanket out to the couch to do that.

Aimee Gym Class

Today Aimee had Grandma Alon come to gym class with her and had a blast as always. They had the dolphin swing out again and Aimee got two rides this time. With the dolphin swing you go from one end of the room to the other on a rip cord basically. She also loves the hot dog and getting bounced off of it. It's a big red/blue tube that looks like a hot dog. All the kids sit on one end and someone bounces on the other end, hence popping them all off of their end they are sitting on. Aimee also showed Grandma how she plays in the ball pit and we burried her in it. The close up of her face is her climbing out of the ball pit with the rock wall behind her. As always they get a surprise to play with and today it was a ball that had 4 strings coming out of it. They made it dance around and did all sorts of funny things with it. Next came separation time and Aimee ran right over to the piano and played it. Can you tell Papa has given her a few piano lessons! She loves separation time and does really well playing with all of the other kids.

Aimee & the Frog

Tom and I bought Aimee this frog before she was even born. It was more of a joke for Tom's Gram, who hates frogs. Aimee now loves this frog very much. She loves to hug and kiss him even. I caught her on the camera the other night hugging him tight and cuddling with him on the couch. It's funny of something that started out as a joke has now become one of her favorite stuffed friends.

Aimee loves splashing in her pool, we ended up spending about 30mins out here. She even decided to try and water the plants. We also did the big pool this weekend and learned that we have a fish for a daughter. She took right to the water and was trying to swim. She hated having to leave, but we will be back there again soon I know. Next time I will try to take the camera with so we can have more pictures to share. Have a great week!

July 5th Aimee update

Today we had gym class and as usual Aimee and her friend started by jumping on the trampoline. She loves gym class and all of the kids in her class. Luckily her summer session just started and we only have 6 kids in the class. After gym class we went to the mall for lunch and she wanted to give her new kitty cat a bath at build a bear. The night before was the 4th of July and we had Grandma Alon over. Aimee wanted to show off her new puppy pj's since both of her Grandma's had puppy dogs. Our little girl is getting very very big! Tom's Party

Today we celebrated Tom's 27th birthday. Aimee loved having all her family over to play and help her Daddy celebrate. She even did all the introductions, it was very cute. She also couldn't wait for Daddy to open his gifts, so she started and then Tom jumped in to help finish. We were all very happy to have our wonderful family there to help Tom celebrate his special day.
