Seabreeze Amusement Park NY

We took Aimee to Seabreeze amusement park and she got to go on her 1st roller coaster. She loved going on all of the kiddie rides by herself, but her favorite ride was the coaster that we did 4 times. She even let Tom go on it twice with her and would just giggle the entire time!

NY visit~ 1st plane ride

We took Aimee to NY to see Ralph & Nancy's new home. We had a great trip and Aimee loved being on plane ride. We got to the local zoo, Strong Children's museum and meet up with a fellow friend and her son. The kids had a bast at the play ground and the mommies had fun talking. We had a great visit and can't wait to go back soon. Aimee now points out every plane in the sky.

Visit to Strasburg Rail Road

We took Aimee to the Strsburg Rail Road today and she loved it. Aimee has a love for trains lately and loved the fact she actually got to ride on one. She keeps asking when we can go back and see the choo choo train.

Howard County Fair

Tonight we met up with Grandma Alon, GG, & Joe at the Howard County Fair. Aimee loved it even with it being so hot. She thought the tractors were cool, but I think Daddy enjoyed looking at them more than she did. Next we got to meet two cows.The owners are a friend of Alon's that she used to work with. She got to meet Angelo & Michael. I think this was the highlight of the fair for her b/c she got to actually pet a cow. Next we looked at the baby animals and she got to pet two ducklings. And of course you can't go to a fair without doing at least one ride. So Mommy & Aimee went on the Merry-Go-Round and had a blast. Aimee loved how fast it went compared to the one at our local mall. It was a great trip and a great first fair for Aimee.

Play date at Port Discovery!

Today we met up with Angie and her kids at Port Discovery. CJ and Aimee played very well together and held hands again. This time I got a better picture of them actually holding hands. Aimee loves going to Port Discovery and getting to see the trains, climb on things and play in the dinner. I think her favorite part is playing in their dinner with all the pretend foods. All in all it went well and they had a blast.

Morning at the Park

Sunday morning we had family time at a local ply ground that Aimee loves before Tom had to run off and shoot a wedding. Aimee loves this play ground b/c it is BIG and has so much for her to do. Tom & Aimee had a lot of fun running around and going down slides. I even got a picture as proof of Tom going down a slide right next to Aimee. She also loves to try to climb the rock wall they have and does pretty well with it, needs a little help though. The picture of her behind a green tube was this long tube that the kids could climb through to get from one location of the jungle gym to another where there were two slides. She kept peeking out the holes so Tom took a picture of her. I'm not really sure who had more fun today though, Tom or Aimee!

Aimee's first lunch date!

We met up with my friend Angie and her two kids for lunch today after gym class. After lunch we went to ride the merry go round up stairs and while walking CJ and Aimee held hands. They were so cute together and held hands for most of the walk through the mall. Both kids were very cute on the merry go round and kept telling their horses to "giddy up".

Aimee loved how the gym was set up today. They had a big climbing apparatus that seemed to be where all of the kids migrated towards today. There was stairs to climg up to a flat surface, walk/slide down a slide, up through the jungle gym and four ways to get down from there. They could go down the wood ladder, the pole, the slide, or the s-plastic slide. They also brought out tunnels and made some neat mazes for the kids to crawl though. One of the gmynastic skills today was the monkey bars which Aimee thought was pretty cool. They also had a swing for the kids to sit on and try to learn how to balance. The instructors helped them swing back and forth while they held on. Aimee and one of her friends ended the day by playing in the ball pit together. They started to pretend the balls were different kinds of fruit and named them off to us. Don't forget to look for more gym class pictures next week after class!
